A request for your support

Hello everyone

As you probably know I am part of a team that is taking part in the Oxfam Trailwalker in April 2010. Nic, Dee, Ryan and myself are part of a team called Yaka Traka and we’re doing all this to raise money for Oxfam Australia, who work to fight poverty and injustice in 29 countries around the world, including Indigenous Australia. We have been training really hard and are looking forward to the challenge in April.

Oxfam TRAILWALKER is the world’s greatest team challenge. And it’s also one of the toughest. The challenge is to get our team of four across 100km of Australian bush in less than 48 hours – and, collectively, to raise at least $3,000 to help to overcome poverty and suffering around the world.

So far we have raised $690, which is fantastic. But we could do with your help to assist us to achieve our target.

If you drink wine or know of someone who does, as part of our fund raising efforts, The Grape Unknown has a range of fantastic red and white wines available at very reasonable prices. They would also make an ideal gift for someone one or to stock up for the next party.

Each and every bottle will have our personal details. If anyone is interested in purchasing wine, please respond to this post and I will forward you an order form.

We would also really appreciate if you can visit our team page and make an online donation. It is very easy to do so and anyone from across the world can make a donation.

* To find out more or to sponsor our team, please visit our team page.

You can also keep up to date with our team by joining our Facebook page if you have not already done so.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping to bring an end to poverty!! Donating is easy – just click on the link and you will be brought to our team page.

Thanks again

Shae and the crew from Yaka Traka
